Imperial IPA estremamente luppolata. La combinazione di luppoli americani e oceanici nasconde perfettamente il grado alcolico. Quando ti accorgerai che sarà 9,5% sarà ormai... 2Late!

Really enjoyed this DIPA. Nice bitter hops with clean, crisp taste. Very refreshing, with notes of pine and grapefruit.

Intense malty background, caramel, citrusy hops, lemon, grapefruit dominating, bit pine. Moderate to high sweetness for DIPA finishes with moderate bittersweetness. Enjoyable well balanced brew but nothing outstanding.

33 cl bottle shared. Appearance: Orange, medium sized head of 1 finger, with a not that great retention. Aroma: Citrus, caramel, butterscotch, Taste: a lot of caramel sweetness, followed by citrus bitterness and a lasting finish. ABV well hidden. medium body, average carbonation. Too much caramel, but it was close to the date, probably the freshness is gone. Will re-rate this if I can find a fresh bottle.

On tap at Hoppy Days. Clear deep gold / amber pour with thick white head. Aroma is hoppy, piney, boozy malty notes but not overdone, nice citrusy character, good old school nose. Taste is bitter, really hoppy with a bit of booze, light caramel. Palate is full bodied with med-light carbonation. Good.

Teku glass. Bottle. Aroma of citrus (orange, mandarin) sweet malty character noticable. Taste is at first malty and sweet, some hoppy flavours in the background. Medium sweet, soft carbonation, sticky texture. Aftertaste bitter. Little alcohol warming.

Rich, hazy copper and light honeyed colour body with a three centimetre tall rich, microfoamed tan head. Aroma of alcohol, pine, flowers, yeast, honey and quite a bit of resinous hops - nice and pungent. Medium to Full-bodied; Rich, honey and flower flavours dominate up front with a pungent spicey kick from the yeast, some light raisin sweetness and a bit of airy and herbal notes on the finish. Aftertaste shows some pungent hoppiness with a lot of alcohol, sweetness and yeast flavours that last for quite a while. Overall, a nice imperial IPA with a big bite of flowers and alcohol and quite the belgian yeastie notes that dominate the finish. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 19-July-2014 for US$6,49 sampled at home in Washington on 09-December-2014.

Orange, big head. Fruity nose, taste is dominated by caramel like sweetness, followed by citrus bitterness and a lasting finish. A mixed expereience, on one side a bit too sweet for me though I liked the finish a lot.
