Dark cloudy amber pour with a thin white head and lace. Aromas of hops, malt, smoky woodchip, cat piss and grapefruit. Initial bitterness from the grapefruit and hops. Not a whole lot more unfolds. Decent IPA.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 ABS (159) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 17, 2012
Murky bronze. A little bit of white foam. Not much nose, some hop and quite some skunk actually. Some bitterness. Good mouth feel. A bit low on carbonation though. Hop and malt aroma, luckily no skunk here. More of an ESB than IPA maybe?
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Brenhophead (216) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAY 13, 2012
330mL bottle, pours cloudy copper with a non existant head and a very skunky aroma, grass/ slight caramel. Taste is very grassy and all these things combined make me this is beer is not in its best condition. Not impressed.

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Vaiz (2034) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - MAY 1, 2012
Bottle. Orange pour. Aroma is sweaty, meaty, chemical and spicy. The flavor is surprisingly a lot better, a bit mild, but well balanced, fruity, slightly bitter, aged and only a bit murky.

Clean, brown golden and beige head. Raisins, caramel, cookie and fermented fruit. Rich flavour with enough hops but not only a hop focus. Bit too sweet, maybe. Refreshing still and it suits me well. Quite true to the American origins. Nice. (Sample from 33cl bottle, thanks Menno!)
