330 ml bottle from Domus Birrae. Dark sunrise orange, slightly hazy, with a huge, fluffy, forever lasting off white head. Good lacing. On the nose slightly toasted malts, toffee and burnt caramel, wheat bread and some earthy hop notes. Slightly woody as well. Solid malty backbone, a bit too fizzy for the style, slightly astringent aftertaste. Solid bitterness, feels pretty authentic and English. Average carbonation, medium body, creamy texture. Could be better less lively, bit still pleasent.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 30.10.2014
Lots of foam when pouring. Aroma has bready malt and toffee. Also some fruity hops with peaches. Very foamy palate. Flavour has bitter hops with grapefruit, some toffee and hints of bready malt. Also some cardboard- and plastic-like off-flavours in the background. Rather aggressive for a bitter with 28 IBU.
