3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
33cl bottle. Pours a dark-ish brown colour with a medium beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, some smoke and coffee. Taste is roasted malts, coffee, hint of cocoa nibs and pleasant milk notes. Sweet-bitter with a touch of refreshing sourness from lactose I guess. Quite thin in body with ok carbonation. Overall, nothing to scream about, but a weel done milk stout.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On draught at Moeder Lambic (Fontainas)
Pours basically black with a big head that leaves great lacing on the glass.
The aroma is malty and chocolaty, some raw grain & mild coffee. Sweet smelling.
The flavor is nicely sweet & chocolaty, mildly bitter with some coffee, straightforward and exactly as the name implies.
Palate is nicely silky.

3.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
33 cl bottle. A fine example of how to properly make a fairly low ABV stout taste good. Particularly pleasing palate with a dry finish. Not as disgustingly sweet as many milk stouts. Very well done.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle (33cl) from Vinmonopolet (Oslo). Useless at fridge temperature (like flat cola), but very different at recommended temp (10-12 deg.). Colour is very dark reddish brown, with a half-inch light beige head having fairly good retention. Aroma of sweet, roasted malt, milk chocolate, licorice. Medium sweet, malty taste with a touch of salt and some acidity. Medium body, mouthfeel is somewhat watery.
