Milk Chocolate Stout

Malti: Pale, Crystal, Chocolate, Pale Chocolate, Wheat, Oat, Monaco, Vienna
Luppoli: Magnum

Dedicata a coloro che hanno paura delle birre scure. Dolce, complessa, ma beverina. Il lattosio e le fave di cacao la rendono morbida e profumata. Una birra per golosi...

Aroma has licorice, some coffee, chocolate and lactic tones. Flavour has ash, some coffee and semi-dark chocolate. Palate is a bit stingy and foamy with CO2. Too ashy.

@ Filip. Flaska från Kihoskh, Köpenhamn (39 DKK). Rostade malttoner, ganska hög sötma, lätta chokladtoner, medelfyllig, oljig i konsistensen. Avslutningen är torr och besk med rostade och maltiga toner.

Bottled from Biernavigatie, BB 30 05 14 (ordered it March 17 btw), large sample, served in a shaker. Pours a dark brown cola-like color with a quite big rocky brown head which remains but not leaving much lacing at the side of the glass. Aroma of grapefruity hop, roasted malts, chocolate, mocha, blackcurrant, licorice. Slight sourish from the roast, medium bitter, bit chocolatey sweet. Quite high on carbonation, medium bodied. Lots of roast combined with milk chocolate notes. Too bad carbonation is a bit high and its not as creamy as you would like. Would like to see this on nitro instead of co2.

Aroma of smoked malt, roasted coffee. Not much aroma of chocolate. Dark brown. Finish us Great big foamy tan head. Small head lasting. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness. Chocolate is more noticeable in the taste. Finish is sweet and roasted. Oily texture. Light carbonation.

Shared by martjoobolut, thanks! Ruby tinged brown, brown head. Nose is chocolate, roast, malt, peas. Flavor is chocolate, stale coffee, oats, sweetness, lactic notes, some wheaty notes. Watery palate. Not exactly bad, but I don’t want more of it.

330ml bottle. Dark brown color. No head. Coffee, roast, dirty, wipe cloth in aroma. Milky, coffee, roast, sweet in taste. Bubbly mouthfeel. Nice roast in aftertaste.

330ml bottle (Koht, Tallinn)
Nice chocolate creamy filled cake aroma. Some slightly pooey hint. Basically black, tiny tan head. Smooth palate, some carbonation. Rough roast, dry, ashy. messy. Finish harsh and earthy, leaves me desperate for another beer, definitely not the same again, I want my thist quenched, rather than this.
