14.06.2013. 0,33l Bottle. Vinmonopolet Bergen Storsenter. Black colour with tan head. Aroma is dry bitter, with a nice smell of dry dark roasted malts. Flavour is more dark roasted malts. Good rich body with both bitterness and malts. Its dry, not sweet, so I wonder why its called a sweet stout. Aftertaste is more dry bitterness. Very nice stout.

Pours pitch black with fine creamy head. Smell is very malty-chocolatey. Starts with sweet chocolate malts with some milk sugar. Middle part is also very sweet malty with some lactose. Goes into a coffee-like malty finish with sweet lactose flavor.

15 CL tasting glass at ’24 uur van maastricht’, dark beer, aroma of chocolate, coffee. Taste was also chocolate and coffee, overall a decent beer.

Milky aromas and sweetness. Roast malt on taste with a milky aftertaste. Not too sweet. In general I liked it. Only problem is its appearance.

Bottle, 33cl. Online. Aroma: Lactose, smoke, roasted malts, coffee with a bit of hops. Appearance: Black. Brownish head. Taste: Coffee, roasted malts, no chocolate to be tasted really. Palate: Thick and smooth. Hops last a while. Fizzy coffee-carbonation.

Aromat orzecha i prazonego slonecznika. W smaku sporo dawki palonego slodu i kawowo-czekoladowego musu. Kolor czarno-brazowy, gesty i gleboki. Piana srednia ale bardzo szybko opada.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours dark brown with a firm, solid off white head leaving great lacing and staying for the duration. Nose is sweet chocoalte and vanilla. One dimensional but what is there is fine enough. Same in taste. Light chocolate and vanilla. Easy going. Solid stuff

Di color nero spento, opalescente con schiuma cremosa. Al naso, e anche in bocca, è di un amaro tostato delicato e sa di cioccolato. Di corpo watery, assomiglia molto ad una mild più che ad una stout.
