COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

A triumph of citra and simcoe hops. Aromas of lime, lemon peels , mandarin, grapefruit and pine. In the mouth has a tiny body, but well balanced, that makes the beer dangerously drinkable for his high abv. A enjoyable bitterness with a long hops after taste. Very dry end. Super recommended

Bottle. Yellow, little bit hazy with nice, long lasting white head and good lacing. Rather strong aromas of citrus, some flowers and caramel malts in the background. Light to medium body, right carbonated, solid bitterness from the first sip, alcohol well hidden (had no idea or feeling it’s 7). Very traditional and very good IPA.

Uit de fles geschonken. Geel troebel bier. Aroma van mout, hop en mango. Smaken van mout, hop, mango, grapefruit. Een lekkere frisse bittere IPA met een mooie lange bittere afdronk.

Bottle 0,33L. Courtesy of Gregor. Cloudy orange color with huge, frothy, white head. Aroma of tangerine, floral hops, caramel malts. Taste starts moderate bitter and very crispy with medium to heavy bitter finish with a touch of grapefruit. Medium body, dry texture, fizzy carbonation and metallic finish feel. Not bad, but overcarbonated...

UPDATED: JUL 14, 2016 Overall a bit too traditional, but a very well built and fresh tasting beer. The aroma is largely floral and earthy with hints of citrus and caramel malts. The flavor is similar, adds a larger fruit and citrus(mango) dimension along side a solid bitterness. Finishes clean and crisp, just a touch green. Balanced and that is to say lacks any serious hop overload in either aroma or flavor. Lacks the nuance of the newer style soft palate bigger hop flavor profile offerings being loosely called New England IPAs.

Sampled from tap at Amsterdam Craft Beer Fest 2016. Clear, golden yellow with a white head. Fruity-grassy aroma of lemon, pineapple and some passion fruit. Slightly bitter, grassy-fruity taste of lemon, pineapple and some mango, followed by a short, moderately grassy-bitter finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

On tap at Amsterdam Craft Beer Fest 2016, BRET. Nose is tropical fruits. Body clear yellow, head is small, white, creamy, mostly diminishing, excellent lacing. Aroma is grass, grapefruit, lemongrass, weed, hemp. Medium sweet, medium bitter, light citric sour. Finish is medium lasting hoppy medium bitter. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Quite easy, very tasty, nice one.

Pale orange, average head, moderate retention, some lacing. Aroma is not very intense with notes of resin, grapefruit and not much else. Taste has a bit of sweet crackery foundation, again notes of resin and grapefruit. Overall is bitter but not intensely so. Bitter and slightly musty aftertaste. Light to medium body, light crispness. Quick and easy mouthfeel, a bit empty though. Not bad, but just another boring and unsignificant ipa, not even particurarly fresh
