3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 ClubGonzo (2707) - Bergen, - MAY 29, 2012Bottle. Pours a hazy dark orange body with a small white head. Nose is cascade-ish fruity hop tones: grapefruit, melon, hints of apricot. Some herbal cat pee tones in the back. Taste is mellow fruity tones of peaches, melon and pine, with hints of grass. Nice. Smooth body, medium carbonation. A solid IPA, and probably one of the best of the genre from Italy I’ve had this far.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 Niall73 (41) - - MAY 23, 2013
Bottle. Hazy orange colour with thin white head and a floaty bits. Some funky fruity earthiness to the aroma as well as vegetables, dried pineapple, malt, candy and a little wheat too. Nice and full mouthfeel, foamy if you let it. Pineapple in the flavour too, pretty sweet and not a massive amount of bitterness but the grapefruit and tonic comes through at the end. Altogether pretty damn tasty.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 Maris (752) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - MAY 22, 2013
From a 330ml bottle on 22/5/2013. Pours a cloudy dark golden witha smallish head. Has a very pleasant, light aroma featuring honey, floral and fruity notes. In the mouth, you get pronounced honey flavours, and lots of sweet citrus and stone fruit (orange, lemon, apricot and peach. The hops deliver a satisfying, lingeringThis is r bitter finish, with just a dash of grapefruit presenting. The body is medium to full and the carbonation lively, but not off putting. This is really nice stuff. Definitely not a typical IPA, but really rewarding. If you think Peroni is all that the Italians have to offer, try this.

100513: cloudy orange Italian IPA with a light and airy foam that quickly disappears. Leaves thin lace on the glass. Fine hoppy aroma. Hoppy taste is good, however, somewhat bitter. Nice hoppy flavor that is long on the tongue.

Spina @ irish pub quinto
Ambrata con schiuma piuttosto persistente.
Luppolata il giusto, un pò poco amara per essere un’IPA.
Comunque buona!

Location: 12 oz bottle at George & Dragon, 4/5/13
Aroma: This one has a clean hop nose of orange and citrus, with some caramel and bready malts
Appearance: It pours a hazed orange-amber color with a small head and medium-plus lace
Flavor: The taste is pretty balanced, it is lightly sweet and medium hoppy, the flavor works well
Palate: This one has a clean and highly drinkable feel, average carbonation, and a fairly lengthy finish
Overall Impression:
I thought this was a pretty solid one. It isn’t a top of style offering, but it was certainly worth trying. I’m plenty glad to have gotten to try it.
