COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

At Borefts Beer Festival 2013. Near black with a small tan head. Lots of roasted aroma with chocolate and coffee notes. Sweetish roasted flavour with chocolate and vanilla

Eccezziunale veramente!

Bottle from Yamaichi. Big smooth, substantial chocolate nose, creamy as if oats were added, some fumes. Dark translucent brown, thin head. Slightly rough roast malt initial, soy sauce, alc. warmth. Medium-heavy body. Slick and silky from mid palate onwards. Solidly made. Really seems like an oatmeal stout.

Pours a one finger light tan head that fades quickly leaving no lace. Black color, ton of yeast left in bottle. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Licorice and chocolate nose and flavor is baked chocolate, no yeast, higher ABV is hidden. $6.60 for a 330ml bottle from a Tully’s Beer & Wine Wells, ME.

Bottle from Yamaichi. Lovely thick tan head aboard a pitch black, shiny beer. rich chocolate malts, lots of umami and a bit of soy, plus some oysters. A touch of fruity hops. Nicely fruity, chocolate and coffee, light soy. Rich and lots of umami for sure. Very thick and full. Lightly roasty. Some citrus. A bit too thick and heavy, but good.
