COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

A pitch black body covered by a huge, well lasting light briwn head. Nose has roasty notes of chokolate, coffee and caramel. Taste is sweet with a roasty bitter finish. Medium carbonation and ample palate. Quite nice and well balanced beer with pleasant sweet notes.

Nera, schima cremosa molto bella. Profumo tostato, cioccolato, caffè, liquore, liquirizia, nocciole. Sapore tostato, caffè, cioccolato, ricca, corposa, equilibrata e bilanciata, piuttosto dolce ma tutt’altro che stucchevole. Alcool ben nasosto. Ottima.

Pours dark brown, almost black, slightly haze, with foamy stable light brown head. Visually medium to high carbonation. Aroma: intense dark malt aroma, which takes on coffee, supported with hop aroma, which takes on stone and dark fruits, especially prunes, resins and plums. Flavor: rich malt flavors, which takes on coffee, slightly soy souce, bittersweet chocolate, almost perfectly supported with hop flavors, which takes od dark fruits. Malt swertness is moderate high, hop bitterness also. Finish is sticky dry. Body is medium to full, carbonation is medium, texture is silky smooth.

12 ounce bottle. Huge gusher! That head is dark tan and falls very slowly. The beer is almost black. A roasted malt aroma is robust. It also has some gentler citrus fruit. The flavor brings that plus grains. Despite the ABV this drinks very smoothly. Only a minimal amount of heat is noticed. Some earth, currants, and a hint of chocolate. At one point it got somewhat harsh but this is good stuff.

En dyb og fyldig smag af malt og sødme. Der anes en smule alkohol i varmen i eftersmagen.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with stable tan head. Clear aroma of fruit an malt, with mild, roasty notes and touches of coffee, nuts and yeast. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of coffee and fruit and touches of dark chocolate. Roasty aftertaste with mild, fruity hints. Nice.

Bottle, 8.5%. Sweetish and salty aroma. Black colour. Small light brown head. The flavour is sweet and salty. Quite roasted and a little fruity. A lot like a Baltic porter. And not bad.

A nice tasting porter, with mild aroma and a pretty color, there is no yeast at the bottom so it’s an easy pour but some flavor is missing. At 60 IBU it is pretty mild for my palette but it is a nice beer to drink while watching some good tv. It’s a good Imperial Porter but it just misses some flavor and complexity to be an awesome beer.
