33cl bottle. Black cherries, blackcurrants, a little tarry or liquorice in aroma, opening up to dark chocolate, crusty Brown bread and... walnuts! Pours with a big frothy beige head that subsides to a thin lacy head. Very dark brown. Very velvety with a bitter Edge, low carbonation. Dryish, bitter dark chocolate dryish finish. Rich and warming.

a bit of a let down.. aroma was mediocre, taste was a bit boring. everything was ok, which was nothing I expected - an Imperial Stout ought to have more character than that. not bad, however, it was nice - I just want Imperials to be mighty, full of character, extreme - nothing was found here.

On tap at Hoppy Days. Almost translucent deep mahogany brown-black pour with super rich frothy creamy thick brown foam. Aroma is rich and chocolaty, lots of roasted grain, light licorice some vanilla notes as well, light booze, really nice and desserty. Taste is sweet but not as much as anticipated (apprehended?), nice chocolaty flavors cut off by a nice dry, slightly boozy finish. Palate is med bodied with med-light carbonation. Tasty porter.
