tiggmtl (4475) - Vancouver, - MAY 15, 2011
Sweet, rich, dense and chewy toffee-like malt character along with strong banana and bubblegum esters in the nose. Hazy brown body is topped by ungenerous and lasting, fine bubbled off-white-tan head that laces nicely. Nutty sweet malts with notes of chocolate, banana, warm mulling spices, and rich dense dark fruits in the flavour which becomes more expressive as it warms. Medium-full body with pleasantly prickly effervescence. Sampled on tap at the brewpub.
