COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Those used to three week old, heavily filtered lagers made from ingredients other than malt - ours might surprise. All-malt mash and no filtration means at least six weel old beer. Hallertau Hops and genuine Bavarian Yeast add up to a Lager in it's purest form.

Lightly spicy and grassy hops over a touch of corn in the nose. Clear yellow straw coloured body is topped by a low white fine bubbled and fizzy head that recedes rapidly to ring. Corn character is pleasant in the flavour without overwhelming. Spicy hop notes and light bitterness keep the sweetness in check. Perhaps a touch of sulfur in the aftertaste. Light body with fairly strong prickly carbonation. Sampled on tap at the brewpub.

Darker golden color with a hoppy aroma. Fair bit of hop in this one, mild bitterness and a lingering hop aroma.

Sampled at the pub in Whistler. Typical light golden colour with thin white head. Aroma is very promising with crisp hop notes, light yeast. Taste is extremely crisp and satisfying with lingering Euro hop notes and no adjuncts. Finishes well. A very good take on a very common style. Micro small batch beer at its finest. Liked it despite not loving the style.

Earth and wood everywhere. Nose and mouth dominated by it. Not entirely a bad thing as it was suttle not overpowering. Not oak per say, but almost plywood. The earth scent was warm forest like. Mouth feel was a touch watery and the finish was eerily silent. Decent enough but not outstanding.

Bright golden with a chalk-white foamy cap. Sweet grainy aroma and palate with low grassy hop character and low bitterness in the finish. A clean and easy-drinking lager.

Draft at the brewpub. Menu says 4.5% ABV, 10 IBU’s. Poured a clear gold color with a white head that left some lace behind on the glass. Smelled of pale malt and hay. Light to medium bodied with fresh cereal grain, grass, and subdued pine flavors. I also got an occasional hint of pineapple. Pretty standard.

On tap at the brewpub. One-eighth f an inch of head. Light yellow coloured body with rising carbonation bubbles present. Saaz hops used, carbonation is right there, a little acidic but also a little lemony notes. So-so drinkability.A tad below average mouthfeel.

Draught at the brewpub, 10 IBU, 5% ABV
Pale blond color. Despite not being bold, it has some character and crispy touch. Well, among the Lagers it is quite pleasant.

The brewery was rightly proud of this beer (it's the only beer of theirs mentioned on their t-shirts). It has some bitterness and is lagered for six whole weeks - according to the brewpub's menu. (Query: shouldn't that be more like 12 weeks for a good lager???) Anyhoo, I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of flavor present.
