COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A blend of premium Belgian malts, plus German and Pacific Northwest hop varieties gives this luscious, copper-hued ale a wonderful complex aroma, a rich depth of flavor, and smooth drinkability. Enjoy Red Truck Ale at each of MJG locations.

Editor’s Note: All Red Truck Ale now comes from Taylor’s Crossing.

Draft at the brewpub. Menu said 5% ABV, 25 IBU’s. Poured a clear medium orange color with an off white head. Some decent lace was left behind on the glass at the end. The aroma was subdued overall with delicate whiffs of pine, toffee, and spicy malt. Light to medium bodied with toffee, spicy malt, subtle milk chocolate, and sprucy hop flavors. Decent.

Had a taster from tap at the Brewhouse in Whistler. I recognised the amber style.

Draft, copper amber pour. Bready, light caramel malt aroma.. Taste was light to medium caramel malt, mild hop bitterness. Sessionable amber but not really my style

Good rendition of this style. Nice cereal nose from a red copper beer with lingering white head. Beer delivers on the right flavour profile too with the malts dominating and a pleasent sweetness driving through. The guys at this brewery know their stuff.

Nothing much happening nose-wise. Appearence is a comforting red with gold hints. Quite luscious in the mouth, creamy feel with very well balanced sweet malt and, light hops but not hidden ones, and a lovely cream-soda like finish aftertase. Not out of the ordinary but works decenlty.

Draught at the brewpub, 25 IBU
Copper color. Not many emotions, but correctly brewed, some malty round body and a light final fruitness.
