COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ambrewsia is our take on an American India pale ale. This beer is made to have minimal malt character to allow for full focus on the hops. Five hop varieties are added to create an aggressive bitterness (80 IBU’s) along with floral and citrus aromas. 7% ABV

A good IPA with a somewhat narrow hop flavor profile. It’s called a double, but the ABV is only 7.7%. The big bitterness is enjoyable, but a bit unbalanced.

Poured from a bottle into a tulip: Pours amber with a one finger head. Aroma of citrus fruit, tropical notes, caramel, and dry leaves. Mildly sweet on the first taste with a wave of papaya and grapefruit, finishes nicely with a solid hop bitterness. Well balanced, really nice IPA. I’ll certainly buy more of it.

This is underrated, perhaps criminally, here. Very strong IPA with nice citrus and juice-like qualities. This provides almost everything you would want without waiting in long lines at various other NE IPA providers...

Pours a slightly hazy amber from a bottle, thick white head with lots of lacing. Aroma of pine, lemon, but not pine-sol-y. Flavor similar, with some nice sweet caramel malt backbone lingering in the background. Not terribly boozy, current batch is only 7.0% according to the bottle, not the 7.7% listed. Good beer though.

A pine and citrus aroma. Head is crazy so far. Hazy burnt orange body. Bitter with a bold malt to balance it well. Hint of caramel sweetness. Finish was flat though.

Bottle from Charles Street Liquors. Peachy candy aroma. Tasty strawberry peach taste with a bitter finish. Great!

Very good for what it is. I am not typically inclined to Ambers but this jas a VERY piney taste to the palate. Is there such a thing as an Imperial Amber? This would fit the bill np, Imp Ipa, just not sure

Hazy amber. Light body and flavor, slightly piquant but flat mouthfeel, low acidity and moderate heat, good lengrh. Dry, slightly bitter. Weak flavor, hoppy. Not much to make it worth going back ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from bottle dated 12/14 thanks Airforcehops. Pours hazy orange with a thin lasting head. Aromas of pine hints of floral and sweet malt. Taste is juicy and bitter with notes of grapefruit and lingering hops.

12 oz bottle with a bottle date of Dec 2014. Purchased in a four pack. Hazy orange color with some lasting head in the snifter. Aroma is sweet malt with a lasting pine needles and light floral hops.

I was surprised how well this held up. Nice balance of grain and malt backing with the pine and floral hops giving a substantial lasting bitterness after the sip. Massive notes of pine with some citrus rind as it warms up. Very drying texture across the tongue. Make sure this is only slightly chilled, flavor comes alive as it warms. Quite good actually.

Tap. Pours a murky yellow with a firm head and little bits of hop leaves settling at the bottom. The aroma is citrus hops. Great hop flavor with lots of grapefruit. The alcohol is not apparent. Easy to drink and quite tasty.
