The Bottle label claims an abv of 65%.

"The world’s strongest beer at 65%. Ingredients include crystal malt, wheat, flaked oats and of course 100% Scottish spring water. We then freeze ferment the beer to bring up the ABV. Consume this like a fine whisky. Despite being 65%, the beer has a lot of flavour - malty, hoppy, slightly sweet and lots of yeast still in the beer. Be careful though, smelling it is probably enough to put you over the limit!"

Bottle. Let’s get the obvious out of the way first, there is absolutely no way this is 65% abv. Ok then, dark amber pour with no head. Stale malts on the nose. Flavor is weak and bland. Just not good any way you look at it. Very unimpressed.

Bottle. No alcohol on nose. Some sweetness, syrupy toffee, light hoppiness, no alcohol burn at all. Tasted alongside multiple 19% beers, would struggle to be around 15% - future lab tests have shown it to be closer to 15. Actually not a terrible beer, but points lost for the rip-off.

Brown and unclear. Has no head. Heavy sweet, grainy aroma, some heavy corn too. Heavy sweet and alcoholic flavor, some nice dried grapes too. Thick syrupy texture and warming alcohol.

Niller (741) - Hammel, DENMARK - JUN 22, 2014
Bottle@Voldby. Pours dark amber, no head. Slightly bitter taste of malts, caramel, nuts, bread, corn, alcohol. Smooth oily mouthfeel. Full body. No carbonation. Slight sweetness in the finish. Not near the 65% ABV more about 30 to 35%.

Bottle @ Voldby tasting. Pours hazy dark brown, no head, heavy lacings. Aroma of malt, caramel, bread, wood, nuts, some dried fruit. Flavor is malty, sugar, caramel, bready, nutty, bitterness, spruce, wet wood, booze. Full body, fat oily mouthfeel, flat carbonation. Allthough strong, imo not near the 65%ABV. 200614

I was a dumb ass that paid for this. No way this is 65%. When i contacted them on facebook and called them out mentioning that tactical nuclear penguin lit on fire and theirs did not they blocked me from commenting. I have another bottle and will be paying to have it tested and will send results.

kidmartinek (3742) - austin, Texas, USA - FEB 26, 2014
Pours like blonde yeast gelatin suspended in a caramel malt felatin. Boy, this stuff is thick. The aroma is old textbooks and libraries reminiscent of college awesomeness. The texture is like 80w90 gear oil. It leaves clear sediment on the glass. The smell is that of a scottish ale with oak, peat and earth and more peat. Its decidedly smooth on the palate. Thick as pudding. Flavors of toffee, caramel, gelatin, and a hop syrup reduction abound. Amazingly drinkable if the strength advertisers true.

Bottle, bought @ YNWA Beershop. Pours clear dark amber with a small, creamy white off-white head. Aroma has caramel, sweetness, raisins. No carbonation, oily and dry mouthfeel. Flavour has caramel, vinious, sharp, dry, horrible.

Well, I can say I had it. Aroma was sweet and malty and a little offsetting. The color was amber but had a lot of debris and this was from the beginning, not just the bottom of bottle. No head whatsoever. The palate was oily and smooth without carbonation. The flavors were mixed and a little unbalanced. It was boozy up front and not like a spirit, which is what I was expecting. Sweet malts with a slight hops bitterness but not that good. Regarding the 65% ABV, I would agree with the other reviewers. I highly doubt this beer meets the claim and that’s based upon how I felt after drinking a bottle.
