3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Brownish beer with a very strong and frothy off white to light brown head. The aroma is very well hopped, and the flavour is very well hopped with heaps, and heaps of dense bitterness. Overall a nice very strongly hopped beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml bottle BB April 2014. Poured into tulip. Dark red, brown tinge, very highly sparkling, huge expanding beige head. Once it’s died down it leaves big clouds of foam on the side of the glass like tumours. Smell - even through all that head I can smell how sweet this is. Caramel, tangerine, potpourri. Body - is basically a mouthful of foam, it stays liquid for a second and then foams up completely. Taste - mainly malty caramel, very sweet with lots of residual sugar, soft bitterness and astringency. It’s like drinking foamy honey. Well I’ve never had a beer like this one, so I’m glad I’ve tried it.

50 cl bottle @ wPBF’14, BBE 01/2014
Aroma is sweetish with hay, some toffee and fruity notes. Feels a bit musty. Flavour has hops, biscuits, some fruity notes, citrus and hints of grapefruit. Also some hayish tones. Unusual and not most typical English strong. And does not feel like 10%.

Pours hazy orange color with a small head. Aroma of sweet fruits, some caramel malts, yeast, dark berry notes and nuts. Flavor of caramel malts, resinous hops, fruits and wood. Quite tangy bitter palate, sweet lingering finish. Alcohol comes through a bit too much.

Almost clear deep amber beer. Mahoooosive pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and airy, semi dry. Smooth soft malt - some caramel and a little toffee. Touch of aniseed. Light lactose. Nice balance of mellow dried fruits. Finishes smooth. Drinks well below it’s abv (but do we trust this brewers abv’s?) and quite drinkable.

It wants to gush, but is tamed by careful handling of the cap.
Big beige head. Clear deep red body with carbonation. Fruity
mealy sugary aroma with herbal floral notes. Dry-sweet mealy
fruity sugary taste with herbal notes. Mid-to-full body. Mild,
fluffy mouthfeel. Sweetish earthy dried fruit aftertaste with
spicy herbal notes. Interesting, odd, unusual. I have no idea
what kind of beer this is. (0.5l bottle, from Kihoshk,
