caesar (2453), Zeist, Netherlands May 10, 2007 Tap @ Brewpub: I cannot find the Jacques Brel Blond which I drank, but I assume this one is quite the same. Quite standard blond belgian ale, however no fruit/citrus. Bit more yeasty, grainy and malty blond. Not my type of beer. chris_o (4393), London, Greater London, England Dec 18, 2006 Draught at the Brewpub, May 2006. Sold as Ete. Not very blond - more amber - and a bit bland. Smooth and very slightly yeasty. There’s also a subtle tart fruit character. A bit insubstantial and, I thought, tested rather tired.
MiP (4843), Flensburg, Germany Oct 11, 2006 Draught, as Brewpub Été. Muddy dark orange colour with yeast threads swirling around. Small creamy light brown head. Sour aroma. The flavour is also sour. Not undrinkable, but might be off. ChristianScheffel (2014), Odense, Denmark Oct 2, 2006 Cloudy golden beer, small white head. Weak banana wheat aroma. Mellow, light sweet flavour. Storm (2677), Amager, Denmark Sep 5, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Clear amber colour with laces. Soft light aroma of malt, spices and hints of yeast. Very soft flavour of malt, yeast, spices and with low carbonation, very nice and easy to drink.
