austone (263), Pori, Finland Jul 20, 2008 Draught @ brewpub. Dark amber, nicely lacing creamy head. Caramel malty nose, lots of fruits with little grain and yeast. Malty flavor, nicely toasty with little liquorice, ginger and herbal hops. Almost medium bodied, smooth palate. A bit too subtle perhaps. SDbruboy (1809), San Diego, California, USA Jun 9, 2008 On draft from brewpub as part of sampler tray. Rich copper amber color, with a small beige head and stringy lace. Biscuity and toasty malts, spicy with pepper and cardamom, ripe fruits, raisins, orange juice and grass. Toasty malts, with light burnt caramel, citrus and grains, floral hops, and spicy herbs with a slightly ashy taste as well. Medium body and quite tingly carbonation. Quite nice and different. cellar (271), Dublin, Ireland Jun 4, 2008 thx for a great tasting Kim, Beljohansen: Clear amber , notes of ripe fruti, flowers, citrus and malt, bitter in taste KimJohansen (2460), Copenhagen V, Denmark May 4, 2008 Clear amber with large off white head. Sweet aroma with floral hops, grapefruit and caramel notes. Flavor likewise with a bitter end. pubbe (493), Højbjerg, Denmark Apr 27, 2008 Bottle. Cloudy amber colour with imprssing off-white head. Aroma offers slightly burnt malt, dusty hoppyness and dried fruits. Flavor is just as impressive with an almost harsh hoppy bitterness well balanced by the rather sweet malt. Almost astrigent on the palate. Well made IPA that must become reference in a an IPA market drowned in much to sweet beers...
