faroeviking (4162), Faroese Beer Republic über, Denmark Jan 27, 2008 Cask at the brewpub, "Frambozen CCA". Pours a cloudy deep red-brown colour, hardly any head. Sweet fruity berry aroma with raspberries, wood and a soft sourness. The flavou is sweet with respberries, wood, some acidi and a soft sourness. Quite dry fruity finish. yespr (6363), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jan 27, 2008 From cask at the brewpub. Pours murky brown with a little bubbly head. Raspberry and woody, slight sulphorish aroma, also with a distinct chemical note. Flavour is sulphorish, dry and with that distinct chemical paint note, but also has clear notes of dry and sourish raspberries. Ends with rather dry note and quite chemical. Not good :( gunnfryd (2743), Kristiansand, Norway Jul 6, 2007 Draught at københavnske øldage 07. Red brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is raspberry, citrus, yeast. Flavour is sour, raspberry, citrus, dry. nice beer. yngwie (3527), Kristiansand, Norway Jul 3, 2007 Draught at Københavnske Øldage. (lagered 8 months) Murky brown with a minimal tan head. Lots of raspberries in the aroma, but it somehow feels a little artificial. There’s sourness and a little hint of oxidation too. The flavor is mostly raspberries as well, with sourness and a some wood. Tart, palate cleansing, astringent mouthfeel. Raspberries, sourness and wood in the finish. A nice beer to start the day with ;-) (070512) Maria (3975), Thisted, Denmark May 17, 2007 Københavnske Øldage 07. Beautiful dark red beer with an acidic, fruity aroma, that is more like a flemish sour than a framboze. The flavour is dry, sourish and the raspberry flavour is limited, and brings me back to the flemish sour feeling. I would have like much more raspberries in this one.... 2133
