Dark golden colour with a medium white head and a nice lacing. Moderate hoppy aroma and taste. Good beer. saxo (2324), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark Feb 6, 2007 Draught. Medium head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are nice and strong with lots of hops. Ungstrup (11385), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 7, 2007 Draft. An amber beer with a thick dense white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy and malty with light dusty flowery notes. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of grapefruit, my guess is Cascade hops, but also a note of caramel, before a dry and slightly bitter end sets in. Lots of aroma hops, but less bitter hops used. Reminds me more of an IPA, than an ESB. Grovlam (3204), Copenhagen, Denmark Feb 10, 2007 Draught @ brewpub. Like Ungstrup says, this reminds me more of a IPA then a ESB. Head was small, fizzy and white which quickly diminished. Colour was amber like. Aroma was elder flower, light pine, grape, floral and light notes of malt. Medium bodied with a average carbonation. Light notes of sweetness with baring notes of bitterness. Nice slightly dry and bitter finish.
