Firm hoppy aroma followed by more tangy hops in the flavour. Heavy orange peel with sweet dark malts beneath. Decent bitter ending. Full bodied. Foamy palate (31.05.2008). SDbruboy (1809), San Diego, California, USA Jun 9, 2008 On draft at brewpub, final taster of sampler tray. Arrives a clear mahogany-amber color with a small beige head that leaves spots of lace. Aroma of persimmon and spice, florals, dust and earth, citrus, grass and toasty malts. Flavor is toasty and bitter, with citrus rind, pine needles and forest floor, lemon grass, cumin, cantaloupe rind and florals. Medium body and gentle carbonation. Nice ! Svesse (1499), Hässelby, Sweden Mar 30, 2008 (Draught at Brewpub Köbenhavn, 26 March 2008) Dark amber colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus (orange peel, grapefruit) and a hint of pine needles. Fruity taste with grapefruit, orange peel, and a nice piney bitterness in the finish. Very nice beer. Skinnyviking (2394), Copenhagen, Denmark Mar 19, 2008 Draught. Medium high off-white lasting head. Hazy orange body. Smooth and soft oranges hops aroma. Mild hops oranges flavor with notes of caramel and cocoa. . Bitterness is solid and good in the aftertaste. Low carbonation Thomas_E (4814), Copenhagen, Denmark Dec 10, 2007 Amber, reddish colour with a solid off white head. Hoppy fruity aroma with a pine note. Light malty sweet flavor with a hoppy and pine bitter note. Hoppy bitter, but also light fruity finish.
