Small offwhite head. Deep dark red barely translucent body. Fruity smoky burnt buttery aroma with chocolate notes. Stale earthy chocolatey (black nougat) taste with burnt fruity notes. Soft mouthfeel. Dry smoky nougat aftertaste with lingering smoke notes and some perfume. Nice. (0.1l draft at the brewpub.)

Dark brown-red colored with little light brown head. Mildly licoricy, still somehow unclean glueish aroma with sweet touch. Medium bodied. Flavor is drier with this same licorice-glue note, yeast comes up also in aftertaste. Must be something wrong in here.

Draught at Brewpub, Copenhagen. Pours out in a cloudy, almost opaque dark brown colour with a rich white foam. Toasted malts, milky chocolate, banana, nuts, butter and pears in the aroma. Medium-bodied with notes of toasted malts, banana and acidic green apples with touches of fudge. Mild carbonation with a smooth mouthfeel. Malty finish of over-riped bananas and fudge with disturbing notes of green immature apples. Could have been tasty if weren’t for those appley undertones. Still, the base of the beer is well-made.
