Small offwhite head. Hazy deep amber body. Smoky stale aroma with roasty coffee notes. Dry-sweet smoky wooden roasty taste with chocolatey notes. Dry long wooden earthy roasty aftertaste lasts for a long time. Very nice. (0.1l draft at the brewpub.)

Jun 6, 2008 On cask at the brewpub. Muddy red brown with a lasting white head. Roast malt aroma, biscuit notes and some peat smoke. Sweet malty flavour with peat smoke and milk chocolate in an unusual combination

May 16, 2008 Draught @ The brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy brown colorwith a small off-white head. Malty hoppy caramel aroma with some weak hints of smoke. Sweetish roaste malty caramel flavor with some hints of hops and chocolate. Sweet roasted malty caramel finish with a hoppy bitter aftertaste.

May 4, 2008 Draught at the brewpub. A red brown beer with a tan head. The aroma is dusty and of nuts and chocolate. The taste is of nuts, chocolate, light roasted malt and biscuits. Medium body with a sweet dry finish.
