Unclear to hazy matt medium orange amber colour with a average to large, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, moderate yeasty, candy, dried fruit, house yeast aroma - close to getting plastic - smoke. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long to average duration, sweet malt, smokey yeast, THE HOUSE YEAST, candy - fruity sweet yeast, sweet smokey yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130107]

On tap. Pours a cloudy opaque nutty brown with a fine, dense off-white head. Sweet caramellish nose. Medium body, soft mouthfeel and a rather low carbonation, sweet caramel and a light note of smoke. A very subdued bitterness. Light notes of yeast - not Dubbel yeast though. 070113

Draught. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy and yeasty aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Very smoked. Average finish. Creamy palate.

Draft. A hazy deep red beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of yeast, exotic fruits, brown sugar, and raspberries. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, candy sugar, yeast, fruits, and a touch of spices, leading to a dry finish.

Tap @ the brewpub. Pours muddy orange amber with a small, creamy, beige head. Aroma has light butter, cinnamon, caramel, Belgian sugar. Medium carbonation, fine dry and light grainy mouthfeel. Flavour is medium sweet, quite some toasted caramel, light spicy, piney hops. Fairly well balanced.

Chopp. Hazy like brown colour, medium beige head, ok lacing. Sweet toasty caramel malty yeasty and fruity like aroma with a wiff of cow stable. Good mouthfeel. Sweet caramel toasty malty yeasty fruity (cow) stable flavour with a medium bitterness.
