COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

From tap at the brewpub, thanks to Grovlam. Pours deep amber with a brown tone and a lacing head. Dry and slight woody, minor acidic and slight spiced. Flavour holds a nice soft caraml base with some body lasting into the finish. Finish holds a bit of bitterness and a minor spice note. Nice bock but not a barley wine.

Tap @ the Brewpub. Pours a deep red with a small off white film head. Aroma has strawberries, caramel, oak and prunes. Rather low carbonation, making the beer quite nice and oily. Flavour is great, vinious, some strawberries, sweet caramel and slight smokyness in the aftertaste. Very well rounded and very good Barley Wine.

Draught at the brewpub. A dark red beer with a big tan head. The aroma and taste is sweet caramel malt, sugar, pruns and berries. Medium body with a sweet finish.

Draft. A hazy deep red beer wtih a lazing tan head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of berries and a hint of butter. The flavor is sweet malty wtih notes of berries and fruit as well as a light note of spices, leading to a fruity finish. OK, but nothing special.

Draught @ Brewpub. Small creamy beige head that mostly diminished. Fair lacework. Light cloudy dark amber to almost light brown color. Notes of caramel and fruit with a hint of bread. Over the palate notes of burned malt, peach and a pinch of spice. Medium bodied for an 8.5% that was again served to cold which might be the reason for not feeling the alcohol at all. The brew was soft carbonated. Moderated sweet flavor with a light hint of bitter notes. Burned lingering bitter finish.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy orange brown coloured with an off white head. Fruity aroma of spices and yeast. Flavour of fruits, dried fruits, yeast, hops and liquorice. Yeasty and hoppy finish.
