3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught @ brewpub. Dark amber, nicely lacing creamy head. Caramel malty nose, lots of fruits with little grain and yeast. Malty flavor, nicely toasty with little liquorice, ginger and herbal hops. Almost medium bodied, smooth palate. A bit too subtle perhaps.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On draft from brewpub as part of sampler tray. Rich copper amber color, with a small beige head and stringy lace. Biscuity and toasty malts, spicy with pepper and cardamom, ripe fruits, raisins, orange juice and grass. Toasty malts, with light burnt caramel, citrus and grains, floral hops, and spicy herbs with a slightly ashy taste as well. Medium body and quite tingly carbonation. Quite nice and different.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Cloudy amber colour with imprssing off-white head. Aroma offers slightly burnt malt, dusty hoppyness and dried fruits. Flavor is just as impressive with an almost harsh hoppy bitterness well balanced by the rather sweet malt. Almost astrigent on the palate. Well made IPA that must become reference in a an IPA market drowned in much to sweet beers...

Bottled. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is flowery and fruity hops along with some earth. Flavour is fruity and earthy and shows some nutty hints. Not very exciting.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: SEP 19, 2008 500ml bottle (HBF2008)
Amber to brown, small head. Aroma is super malty, brown and hoppy. Rich nutty taste - hazelnuts and a bit husky. Alas a bit too drying, which counts against it slightly.
Sweet hoppy aroma. Finish is wet sheep. In between, there’s a sweet malty body, quite like a red ale in part. Tangy hops, and a tingly hoppy finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
God solid IPA. En pæn del cascade. Abrikos, mild maltsødme.
En let-at-gå-til IPA - og det skal de da ikke klandres for.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
500 ml bottle. Slight unclear, brownish amber color. Thin tanned head. Initial aroma of grapefruit. Then a distinct, sweetish malt accent. Notes of tropical fruits and tea-leaves. Taste is quite malty for the style, but nicely balanced with some fresh, piney hops. Medium to light body. Ends up dry malty with a lingering bitterness.
