3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 sunevdj (2489) - Copenhagen OE, DENMARK - NOV 3, 2006
Rated at Guess a Beer Pubcrawl at beer day in Copenhagen. Pours a dark brown with a dissappearing tanned head. Sweet and malty with aromas of coffee and caramel. Hints of vanilla and fruity hoppiness. Rather light bodied. To me this one seems more like a schwartsbier/porter than a Belgian Ale... But hey, that´s me.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Papsoe (22986) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 13, 2006
(On tap) Very dark brown, close to opaque, with a neat, creamy, beige head leaving handsome curtains of lace. Aroma of roasted malt and - unfortunately - some butter. Medium body with notes of prunes and other dried, sweet fruit. Has a slightly vinous touch. Ends dry but not really bitter. Shame about the butter aroma. 110906
