COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A new and refined version. Chico (Sierra Nevada) yeast has substituted the former Scottish Ale yeast, and the East Kent Golding hops has been substituted by the American Willamette and Galena hops - hence the "American edition".

Draught at the Brewpub. Pitch black colour. Aroma of roasted malt, cooffee and hops. Flavour of well roasted malt and coffee, chocolate and bitter hops. Tasty brew indeed!

Draught at the brewpub. Pours red-brown with a good beige head with loads of lacing. Aroma is powerful, plenty of hops and roasted malts. Surprisingly thin on the centre of my tongue. Taste is very roasted again, but not much else. It may be íroundí but itís also quite boring.

Draught at the brewpub. Black colour with a big beige head. The aroma is roasted, but not as much as the old virsion, there is coffee, chocolate, vanilla to, the taste is also light roasted, coffee, chocolate. Medium body with a dry roasted, hop finish. This version is not as sharp and roasted as the old one, but more round and soft, I like it!

Draft. Brewed as a summer version of the Porter, the hops is Willamette instead of East Kent Goldings and the yeast is a Chico instead of a Scottish ale yeast.

A pitch black beer with a huge brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of dusty hops, chocolate, and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of wood, citrus, and roasted malt, leading to a dry woody and bitter end. Good - but personally I like the standard version better, but Iím a sucker for the more powerful beers, and this version is intended to be lighter.
