Draught. Black coloured with a beige head. Roasted aroma of anise. Roasted flavour of anise. Light roasted finish. The anise is too dominating.

Draught. Black colour with a brown head. Roasted, licorice, anis aroma and taste, smooth. Medium to full body with a smooth finish.

Black beer with a light brown head. Roasted malty aroma with some coffee bitterness and hints of anise. Light roasted malty flavor with coffee and liqourice notes along a vague sweetness.

Liquorice aroma, anis I presume. Black colour, small brown head. Thin mouthfeel. Roasted flavour, lots of liquorice.

A black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is roasted with a combination of anise and licorice. The flavor is sweet with notes of licorice mixing with the notes of roasted malt, leading to a dry end.

(On tap) Completely black and opaque with a handsome, creamy, light brown head. Extreme licorice aroma, completely overpowering the burned malt. Medium-bodied, marked burned malts and an extreme spiciness from the star aniseed. I don’t believe I’ve ever had a beer with this much licorice flavour. A light underlying acidity. Very special indeed. 210506
