3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at the brewpub - Copenhagen. Pours deep brown with a thick, creamy mocha head. Steady dark malt nose, hint of sugary chocolate, burnt coffee. Medium sweet flavor with charred malts, more burnt coffee, burnt wood, some mild earthy bitterness, burnt marshmallows. Light to medium bodied with average, somewhat creamy carbonation. Dry and roasty to finish, with a mineral itís that enhances the dryness. Further notes of burnt malts, charred coffee grains, cocoa. Decent offering.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cask @ Brewpub Copenhagen. Black with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt and liquorice. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. Thin. Not fresh. This is the first cask beer Iíve had from Brewpub KÝbenhavn, and if this is their standard, they should really stick to kegs. 030513
