Draught @ the brewpub.: Pitch black coloured. Deep brown dense head. This is a quite full bodied beer. Aroma is sweet, chocolatish with a light roasty note underneath. .Flavour is quite floral and sweet. Roast, chocolate, liqourice and light coffee is fighting for space on the palate. Ends on a balanced sweet roastiness, thats quite delicious. Really good one.

Draught at the Brewpub. Pitch black with a fine lasting espressocoloured head. Aromas of dark chocolate, prunes, blackberries and roasted malts.
On the palate it’s fullbodied, but still with high drinkability. The bitterness is fitting but not overwhelming. Quite complex. A fine effort.

A Sim rate (on tap at Brewpub): Smells like hersheys chocolate syrup. Roasty & malty. Opaque black with a light brown head. Dots of lace that grip the glass. It’s a delightfully rich, roasty flavour that ends in a subtle burnt toast. Coffee, caramel, very bitter malt. Gloriously thick & sticky...in a good way. Great roasty porter!
