From cask at the brewpub. Pours unclear redish brown with a diminished light brown head. Very mild sweet beneath and strong citric raspberry aroma on top, only mildly brett-ish. Mouthfeel is quite light and gives an initial feel and flavour of a raspberry juice. Classic flavours soon join, such as slight wooden notes and mild sulphorish notes too. Ends woody and dry, the beer has slight sweet caramel malt notes throughout though. Nice but somewhat weaker than the belgian rolemodels. Strange hops note in the far finish, clearly unusual but nice.
