2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draught at <a
href=http://www.ratebeer.com/Place/denmark/ target=blank>BrewPub København in Copenhagen, Denmark. Very deep amber in colour, lasting brown head ring around the glass, some lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet, malty, some light coffee, chocolate and licorice. The flavour is quite sweet, some dark malts (chocolate), light roast, some coffee. Mildly bitter mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes sweet, medium length. Borderline cloying, intensely sweet.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Neat dark brown color, fast disappearing head, faintly burnt nose. Surprisingly smoky in the mouth, lacks hops for my taste, no real aftertaste to speak of. Not bad, just another ho-hum drink from Brewpub. I actually liked the place better in the old days before they got their own beers ready.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Amber with a nice offwhite head. Aroma from chocolate and toffee. Some fruity notes. Flavor from licorice and chocolate, a bit spicy. Rather hoppy bitter finish.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at the brewpub. Dark brown with a dense beige head. Fruity, lightly roasted aroma with some piney hops. Flavor starts hoppy, but there is also malty caramel, some notes of roasted malt, and coffee. A bit thin body, and a long dry, hop-bitter and coffee-bitter finish. A pleasant beer that went well with their beef-stew. (060519)

Draught. White creamy and lasting head. Beautiful unclear ruby body. Not much aroma just a bit of dry malt which is also reflected in the flavor. Higher hops bitterness than expected.

1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 2/20
Draught. Burnt plastic aroma. Clear dark brown colour. No head whatsoever. Tastes like burnt plastic too, only with some bitterness. I guess this was off.
