An unclear dark golden-orange beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet acidic with notes of citrus and hints of dust and milk. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and loads of acidic fruit notes, leading to a dry bitter end. I don’t like the acidic fruit notes.

Papsoe (25089) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 18, 2006
(On tap) Hazy, amber golden with a handsome, dense, white head leaving pretty laces. Some discreet hoppiness in the aroma. Medium body, a bit low in carbonation and should’ve been served a bit colder. Comes with a decent malt base with a lightly flowery touch from the Liberty hops. Dry and lightly hoppy finish. An easy drink but not exactly exciting. 111206

fiulijn (14350) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 29, 2006
Draught at the brewpub
Cloudy golden color with orange hue. Aroma of paper, light honey, artificial lemon zest. Soft mouthfeel, some malt, residual sweetness, reasonable bitterness level, but not special; also with a light orange fruitness. The final is quite round and malty.

madsberg (10140) - Søborg, DENMARK - DEC 9, 2006
Draught @ the brewpub. Orange coloured. Unclear. Dense off white head. Citric and flowery nose. Has some fruity sweetness. Flavour is sweet and flowery as well. Has some spicy notes and is light citric. Medium bodied. Quite dry. Light bitter end. Smooth and mild. After drinking a samplerset at Vesterbro Bryghus, this was a revelation. Probably on a cheap background, but nonetheless a beer that leaves Vesterbros beers standing.

Aroma was sweet flower, light citrus with notes of other different hop characteristic blending in there. Light to medium bodied with a slightly watery texture and light carbonation. Light bitter sweet flavor. Light sweet and dry finish with a very short duration.
