Draught @ [ BrewPub København, Copenhagen 1456, Denmark].
Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lancing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, buttery, ginger notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, the finish has a light ginger burn. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. (130608)

On draft at Brewpub. Shows a clear golden color, with a small white head, and spotty lace. Aroma is fruity with ginger, pineapple and pepper. Tart and spicy flavors, smooth with fruity malts and floral notes which compliment the ginger and citrus hops. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel with tingly carbonation.

Papsoe (25094) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 14, 2008
(On tap) Slightly hazy golden with an off-white head leaving some lacework. Sweetish perfumy nose - but not distinctly gingery. Medium body with a soft mouthfeel, sweetish malt and fruit and a somewhat astringent finish with some earthy elder accents too. The ginger is far too downplayed and doesn’t really make this any more interesting than the original Monroe version. Served too warm also. 090608

Ungstrup (28448) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 15, 2008
Draft. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has strong notes of ginger as well as lighter notes of dusty hops, citrus, and yeast. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of ginger, so much ginger, that it dries out the toungue towards the finish - too much ginger for my liking. The body is a bit light.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy yellow/golden - white head. Freshness, fruity, light flowery, light spicy, light light (not much) ginger. Very refreshing.

VsXsV (1896) - Linköping, SWEDEN - JUN 25, 2012
Draught at Brewpub København. Hazy, straw liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma of citrus, banana, clove, wheat and ginger. Is this supposed to be a hefeweizen? Taste is dry and medium bitter with notes of biscuits and banana. Light bodied with medium carbonation. Very mediocre.

Draught at the brewpub. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Strange astrigent light bitter flavor. Average finish. Oily palate. Not pleasent.
