Draught @ Brewpub. Average off-white fizzy head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Slight clear amber color. Aroma of fruit, floral notes, caramel, elderflower, grapefruit, apricot. Kind of weak aroma but very nice and powerful mouthful. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation and a dry texture. Balanced bitter and sweet flavor. Light bitter and dry finish. Quit nice.

(Draught at the Brewpub, Copenhagen, 2 Aug 2007) Reddish brown colour with ruby notes, frothy white head. Malty nose with dark fruit, wild berries, sweetish malt and some rubbery notes. Malty, grainy taste with dark fruit, wild berries and a rather full taste of earthy hops in the finish. Fairly sweet. Lacking some balance, but still a good beer. And obviously I wouldn’t be able to resist a beer named after my favourite Polly Jean.

Rune (11120) - Tromsø, NORWAY - AUG 5, 2007
UPDATED: AUG 6, 2007 100ml draught at the Biergarten of the brewpub in Copenhagen. Served at the right drinking temperature. Nice, clear brown body over a thin, beige head. Aroma of dried and dark fruits and a caramel touch. Slightly vinous taste offset by notes of hoppy sweetness. Lingering bitter and yeasty end. Medium to full palate. Good brew, but does not quite lives up to its great name (01.08.2007).

Draught. Deep orange colour. Fruity aroma with a toasty maltiness. Sweet fruity bitter flavour with well toasted malt and a very hoppy finish.

Draught at the brewpub. Sulpur and hop and that is not very nice to drink, small amount of diacetyl. All in all a beer out of balance.

Christian (12884) - Odense, DENMARK - JUL 21, 2007
Orange with a lasting white head, leaving some pretty lace, even in the sample size glass. Earthy and herbal hop aroma with a good deal of malt. Sweet and caramel like flavour with a medium bitterness

(Sampled draught at the brewpub) Clear deep golden color, white head. Fudge, grains, alcohol and oranges scent. Bitter taste. Some coffee aftertaste. Also very dry. Big body, high bitterness.
