God, rar british style IPA med mellem malt. Gik fint sammen med ærtesuppen hos BrewPub i en i øvrigt ikke helt imponerende middag. Fremragende som fredagsøl dog...

Tap @ the brewpub. Pours a nice deep amber with a little creamy white head. Nice bit of lacing, though the head soon turns into a thin film. Aroma is mild, light pine and caramel. Lovely creamy palate with medium carbonation. Powerful hoppy bitter flavour, pine, citric (yes, it is a bit sour), oak. The flavour hangs around for some time.

Ungstrup (29802) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 2, 2007
Draft. A hazy amber beer with a nice lazing orange head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of bisquits, but also with notes of spices, caramel, and brown sugar. The flavor is sweet and very malty with primary notes of caramel and bisquits, but also with lighter notes of cinnamon and alcohol - a very fine spicyness, leading to a dry and rather bitter finish which also includes a light touch of citrus. I want one more.

(On tap) Hazy, amber golden with a handsome, dense and very retentive, off-white head leaving quite some lacework. Fresh and floral hopping. Rather full-bodied with notes of caramel and Bastogne biscuits. The finish is flowery hoppy but also brutal and bitter - just like a PJ Harvey song. No wonder Ungstrup likes it - he always was a fan.... 030707

Sample from tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with lacing rim. Rasin malty aroma, slight estheric note. Full bodied. Flavour is thick malty, slight sweet filled with minor dried fruit and raisin notes. Good bitterness 1/2 minute into the dry finish. Very well made.

On tap@ the brewpub. One finger lasting beige head. Unclear light amber body. Cirtic and floral hops and caramel in the aroma. Rounded hoppy taste with a good malt level. Quite light-bodied with a soft mothfeel and a lingering bitter finish. Very enjoyable.

Draught. Deep orange colour. Fruity aroma with a toasty maltiness. Sweet fruity bitter flavour with well toasted malt and a very hoppy finish.

Small white head. Copper body with light carbonation. Strong aroma of tropical fruit, honey, and resin, all from the hops, I suspect. Clear, clean, and harmonic. Sweet, deep fruity earthy malt taste with honeyish resiny notes as well as some wood and perhaps a little alcohol. Chalky pea notes. Bitter dandelion and fruit aftertaste. Excellent! (0.1l draft at the brewpub.)

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy orange coloured with a creamy off white head. Aroma of caramel, liquorice and hops. Hoppy flavour of caramel, grape fruits and pine needles. Dry hoppy finish.
