Cloudy dark amber color. Dusty aroma. Dry mouthfeel, the flavor is too ashy; strong bitterness.

On tap at the brewpub. Flowery and fruity smell and taste, also some caramel. An ok bitter but not one of the best.

Half, from tap @Brewpub København. Pours an opaque dark reddish brown. A sand-colored lace on top. Plummy fruitiness to the nose, along with tones of nuts and sweet bakery. Sourish-sweet malt flavor with pepper and yeast notes. Mild earthy bitterness. Mid-bodied. Slick. Sourish malty endnotes.

CBF 2012: Dark amber coloured and hazy. Has an off-white head, mostly diminishing. Aroma is roasted, nuts too. And butterscotch. Flavor starts moderate sweet and finish heavy bitter.

300ml from the draught menu at the brewpub. Dark brown coloured body. Spotty lacework. Roasted aroma of dark malts, notes of dusty hops as well. The taste profile follows the nose with earthy malts and dark fruity. Malt bitter tail. Medium bodied. A rather pleasant one (Copenhagen, 09.05.2012).

Murky brown/red color. Slight off-white head. No lacing. Smells a bit off. A little malt and roast in the nose. Taste is just as ’good’ as the aroma. Not a very good beer. But palatable, somewhat.

Draught. Mildly smoked aroma. Hazy dark red brown colour. Small off-white head. The flavour is caramelly with a horse note to balance. Hint of grain in the finish. But well-balanced.
