COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Den belgiske gær har hovedrollen og giver en frisk syrlig frugtighed, der er overlejret af krydrede dufte. I baggrunden humlens milde blomsteragtige aroma anes. Humlebitterheden ligger sig sidst til de øvrige sansninger og det samlede smagsindtryk slipper ikke munden i en rum tid. Snakefinger er en særdeles frisk øl med en smag der trænger igennem, selv når den serveres iskold.

(On tap) Hazy, reddish amber golden with a dense - almost nitro-style - off-white head leaving some lacework. Lightly tart, fresh, spicy and flowery nose. Medium body with lightly sweet notes of fruits and flowers with a distinct, underlying yeastiness. Perhaps a wee whiff of mint also? Solid bitterness in the finish. Decent one. 300807

30 cL from tap at the brewpub, style listed as Belgian Special Ale. Pours hazy orange with a creamy off-white head. Caramel and spiced yeasty nose, slight orange fruity, has very classic Brewpub aromatic note. Creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is mellow malty caramel, soft and sweet. Clear bitterhops flavour with a minor grape twist and a slight spiced note as well. Very minor soap and buttery notes too. Ends bitter dry. Nice.

Grovlam (4156) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 6, 2007
Draught @ Brewpub. Average off-white thick head that mostly lasted. Nice display of lacework. Somewhat clear golden color. Aroma of apricot, butter, citrus, caramel, fruit, herbal and spice with some underlying floral feel over the palate. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Light dry texture. Light sweet fruit flavor with some bitterness. Fruity and light herbal finish. Not the typical Saison.

Ungstrup (29473) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 10, 2007
Draft. An unclear orange-brown beer with a thin but lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with storng notes of Belgian yeast and strong notes of fruit - peaches, mango, and oranges, as well as light notes of spices especially coriander. The flavor is sweet malty with a slightly burnt edge (has it been burnt during the boil?) which gives it a slight hint of plastic to go along with the powerful spicy note of coriander, cloves, and cardemomme.
