Rastacouere (6174) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 26, 2007
Opaque/cloudy dark orange beer, well carbonated and maintaining a fair sheet of lacing despite the small size of its foam. Not so much of a yeast influence to the flavours. It is rather a fruitily malty ale with citrus, peaches and red berries nuances over a hefty biscuity base. Heavily sweet palate punctuated by mellow carbonation that leaves an oily impression. A bit underwhelming.

caesar (6680) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - MAY 10, 2007
Tap @ Brewpub. Hazy light brown color, short off-white head. Aroma of sweet wood (what’s in a name), some milk chocolate. Light belgian double taste, with sweet chocolat overwhelming together with the sweet wood. Quite odd taste, so that’s why it’s not really popular (looking at the ratings), but I quite liked it actually.

Grovlam (4208) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 28, 2007
Draught @ Brewpub. Impressive creamy beige head that mostly lasted in the pitcher that it was being served from. Muddy mahogany colour. Lovely sweet malty and dusty grains, roasted, brown sugar, light notes of nuts and some dry fruit. As it lingers in mouth, an excellent note of liquorish appears. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation and a light sticky texture. Flavour was moderated sweet, not much bitterness. Finish was liquorish sweet. With the food (roast veal) this was an excellent choice!
