Nose is weak hazel, sweeter malt notes, weak earth notes, feel is watery, carb is low, taste is caramel, medium hops, iron, weak late leaves

Dark brown, noe head, little carbonation. Full body - roasted grain, malt, a little smoke. Dry palate, but not very balanced - comes out too sugary.

Tap at Valhal, Frederikssund. Hazy dark amber colour with a small beige head. Aroma and flavour of roasted malt, hops and caramel.

Draught at the brewpub. Brown colored beer with a rather small offwhite head. Malty chocolate aroma, toffee, some sweet cocoa. Roasted malt flavor, toffee notes, some hops.

tap at valhal, frederikssund. clear amber, smooth offwhite head. faint aroma, caramel. flaovor is sweet malty, brown sugary.

UPDATED: APR 20, 2011 Tap. Murky brown/red with small off-white head. Flavour is malt, light roasted malts, caramel, nuts and heavy smoke.

Unclear amber of colar with a beige head. An aroma of caramel, roasted malt, nuts and weak smoke. A flavor of caramel, roasted malt, liqurice, bitter and citrus.

Light light unclear medium amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lancing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, smoke - peat (like ashtray), toffee, buttery. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. (Malt bitter). Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft. (130608)

On cask at the brewpub. Muddy red brown with a lasting white head. Roast malt aroma, biscuit notes and some peat smoke. Sweet malty flavour with peat smoke and milk chocolate in an unusual combination

Draught @ The brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy brown colorwith a small off-white head. Malty hoppy caramel aroma with some weak hints of smoke. Sweetish roaste malty caramel flavor with some hints of hops and chocolate. Sweet roasted malty caramel finish with a hoppy bitter aftertaste.
