COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer, originally created to make the ocean voyage to India when it was a British Colony, lives on today in many interpretations all hoppy, some a lot more than others. Made in the classic British style, this IPA maintains some balance between the malt and the hops. There is a moderate hop aroma with a caramel malt presence. Hop flavor and bitterness come through very cleanly in the finish.

A fine, golden hued IPA with a tall white head of foam, but I found it just the merest bit lacking in body and balance. Good try, though.

Draft. Poured clear copper color with an average creamy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus hop and soft malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good balanced smooth brew.

Mundane brass color with appealing head. Sweet aroma, with nice candy-ish malt backbone. Well-balanced bitterness with sharp finish. A nice take on the traditional British IPA

Pours a cloudy brown color with a long lasting white head. Aroma of caramel malts and light citrus. Flavor of caramel malts, grass and citrus hops. Quite thick in the mouth.
