Pint on tap at Oliver Square location in Edmonton was a slightly hazy amber color with small white head and nice soapy lacing. Aroma was of grassy hops and caramel. Taste was nicely bitter with a nice balance of malt and hops. I rather enjoyed this pint and followed it up with another.

Had this beer at the Camra Beer Fest in Calgary June 2011. The pour is a bright coppery amber with a finger of yellowish beige head. The nose is sweet and malted well with notes of toast, caramel, toffee, biscuit and grassy hops. The taste is sweet and caramel malts in the middle with a lightly bittered finish and crisp taste. Overall, this is a very well balanced amber beer.

Tap. Copper with a good head. Light hops and solid malt nose. Flavour has good hops, no vanilla and a bit of steel or metallic. Nice malt and hop. American in the best use of the word.

Deep amber lots of compact off white head and tons of lacing. Caramel, caramel, soft fruits, nectarine, pretty straight forward aroma and quite nice. Forward flavors and bitterness, caramel, bready, bit of pepper, sweetness, dull fruits. Finishes a bit astringent with a long malty an bitter finish.
