Cask, The Standing Order (JDW), Derby, 29/11/11. Brilliant gold with a white halo. Honey on leather, lychee, satsuma aroma. Cream soda and lychee flavour. Thick mousse feel. Very good- the best on a trawl round Derby, which is disappointing.

Cask-conditioned at the Knights Templar (JDW), Bristol 16/10/2011. Golden with a decent white head. Citrus and tropical fruit aroma with plenty of hops. Flavour of biscuity malts, with more fruit and a lengthy, dry finish. Very good.

Boston wetherspoons. My kind of beer. Aroma kiwis and pepper. Flavour is spot on. Pineapple predominates with good enough malt background.

Hand pulled cask at the Moon on the Mall (JDW) London. Gold with a white head. Typically hoppy Brewsters US style golden ale but I expected this to be far better considering that Centennial and Citra were in the recipe. Still good but finished a little watery.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 leaparsons (7070) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 21, 2011
Cask, Highcross, Leicester. Bright gold with a dense white head. Aromas are biscuit and caramel malts with peppery notes. Tropical fruit with lemon and pineapple in particular. Pine air freshener with hints of soap. Flavours are sweet mixed tropical fruit with yeast and soft spices. Underlying caramel with mellow lemon and some burnt toast. Dry and yeasty on the finish. Good.

On cask at The Standing Order. Pours a blonde colour with a lacy white head. Aroma of caramel, pine and alcohol. Similar flavours with lingering caramel and alcohol. A little thin with an oily mouth-feel. Mild carbonation and CO2 prickle. Just OK.

Hand pulled at the Briar Rose, Birmingham. Nice lime fruit pastille flavour. Light oily mouthfeel. Very slight cracker in the finish. Good stuff - certainly appears stronger amongst the weaklings in the Wetherspoons festival.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 harrisoni (10911) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 15, 2011
Cask handpull at Victoria station Spoons. Clear pale gold with thin sparse white head. I like Brewsters beers overall and met the brewer once at The Rake. This is an abocve average American hopped golden ale. Hops are quite prominant and tasty. Moderate condition. Too cold. Tasty lemony hoppy golden ale. Really rather good evrn if too cold and not in best of nick.. Love the feeling it gave me afterwards. Quality beer.
