Cask @ Turls Green, Bradford. Golden with a small creamy head. Aroma is quite ordinary for its name with a balanced hop-malt character throughout the ale. There’s some sweetness in its nose.

Cask at the Railway Putney. Dark yellow / orange, still, pretty clear, small foamy white head, light lacing. Aroma is fruity musty hops. Body is medium, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is gluey resin, tea, light citrus, grass, watery malts. Quite drinkable and inoffensive but plain.

BlackHaddock (4920) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUN 30, 2015
30th June 2015: cask pint into a dimpled jug, Briar Rose, a Spoons in Birmingham. Pale amber body, thin white head that tried to leave some lacing. Not as aromatic as the name suggests: some floral notes in the nose and hints of Tropicana. Light malts in the flavours with a floral hop like finish. Decent enough blend but lacked depth and character.

Cask conditioned at The Round House, Nottingham. Gold with white head. A fairly sweetish beer, malty initially then tending towards bitterness with a drying hop note. Bitter orange on the palate, nutty malt. Reasonable.
