3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
not the best of bitters out there, but living in Saskatchewan we dont have much of a selection for beer, has a light hoppy taste to it, a little smooth for a bitter, nice deep copper appearance

Not very good. Some bitterness which was abrasive and then a watery finish, so it doesn’t even do the bitterness (if you like that) well.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
One of the better beers I sampled at Brewsters. Hoppy aroma balanced with sweet roasted malts flavour. Pretty decent.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pint on tap at Oliver Square location in Edmonton. Poured a light copper color with light film on surface and spots of lace. Aroma was mildly hoppy. Taste was cereal and light hop finish. Carbonation was adequate and body was a little thin. Overall, this beer was a little to light on the hops for a bitter style.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft at the Victoria Avenue Brewsters in Regina. Pours clear amber, thin off-white head; poor lacing. Nose is caramel, spicy hops, a bit of clean cardboard. Flavours of light spice, big sweet caramel. Watery and out of balance. A weak effort.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: JUN 21, 2010 rerate June 21 ’10 - pour was half asses like usual so I guess the last pint I had was a one off in terms of looks. Taste is still ok but of course needs work. So damn gassy and it just cost me 7$ for this - are you kidding me? I’d say fuck this place forever but find me anoher place in he city that brews anything drinkable.
Well.… easily the best looking Brewsters beer I’ve had. One finger deep crown, thick and light tan on light copper brew. The aroma really needs some warming to come out. Caramel, grainy bread, lots of fruit. Taste wise this is very drinkable. Caramel, bread, medium hoppy spice (for brewsters), nice fruit. It’s too gassy even after half a pint. It’s on the edge for the style but it’s tasty and drinkable. A bit thin on some sips but overall pretty good.

Not too bad. Aroma is hoppy, sweet malts and caramels. Nuts and toffees mixed in with an overall sweet aroma. Taste is bland and not too impressive. Bitter aftertaste, but not too much here.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle: Orange-red amber with only a thin head. Thin caramel aroma. Very caramel-candied flavor, with just the barest thread of bitterness follow-thru. I’d put this in a Vienna category in a blind ... where’s the ESB-ishness in this? (#2893, 5/15/2007)

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Golden with a hint of orange. Sweet and very fruity. A little watery, and not very bitter, but still perfectly drinkable.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a amber brown with a creamy head. Looks like a nitrogen tap the way it was settling. Has an off-putting plastic taste that just doesn’t sit right. Not one of their better efforts.
