Cask @ Back of Beyond. Clear, mid-light brown, decent head. Sweet fruity hoppy, followed by persistent bitterness. Could happily spend the night on this, shame it’s the last of the barrel...

Hand pulled cask at the Moon & Sixpence (JDW) Hwatch End. Amber with a thick unsparkled off white head. Full bodied and initially malt forward, followed by subtle tropical fruit like U.S. hops, giving an oily resinous swallow. 3 pints went down very easily :-)

Cask conditioned gravity dispense Lamplighter Northampton 23/08/13. A dark gold to bronze coloured beer with an off-white head. A very nice beer with good hops and a well balanced malt backbone. Good fruits in the mouth and some parma violets. Nice floral notes. A good body. Tasty stuff.

August 24, 2013 - hand-pull cask at The Craft Beer Co (Clerkenwell). Attractive clear refractive oily amber with a small frothy off-white head. Simple golden ale aroma - light grain, floral, a bit sweet, decent grassy balance. Taste follows, a little nicer than the aroma. Average body, a little chewy/astringent, quick finish with a bitter linger - simple and easy to drink.

Shared with Northropfrye in Liverpool, just a few steps from the Beatles, which made this taste better...well not really, but the food we had was pretty bad so that might have made this taste better in comparison. Nice golden ale.
