COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Celebrate the Christmas season with Brewsters spiced winter ale. This brew is made using fresh orange zest, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and brown sugar. All the Christmas spices blend with a piney hop punch. PROFILE - Rich brown colour - Spicy aroma and flavours of Christmas spice - Piney hop character reminiscent of a freshly cut Christmas tree - 5% alc/vol

Clear light amber pour with small off white head. Aroma of nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar and hint of cloves. Smells amazing, too bad it didnt taste as good as it smelt. Taste of malts, little spice and slight hops on the finish. Fizzy mouthfeel and watered down flavors, big dissapointment after smelling it.

Pint on tap at the Oliver Square location in Edmonton pours a light brownish color with a small white head which leaves only a few spots of lacing. Aroma is the usual winter spices (cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves) with hints of orange rind and caramel as well as some pine notes. Taste is a piney hop bitterness which takes away some of the sweetness of the malts and seems to work well with the spices. A very interesting brew which I recommend trying.
