Clear copper pour. Sweet malts on the nose. Slightly sweet and malty but easy drinking. Approachable.

UPDATED: APR 1, 2012 This was actually a decent lager. Reddish colour with a sweet aroma. Yeasty sweet flavour. Way better than an average lager.

A brown-coppor colour, this lager has caramel accents and definite taste of malts. A passable lager, but nothing to write home about. I guess this exists as their stab at a macro lager. Buy the Original Lager instead.

Pint on tap at Oliver Square location in Edmonton. Poured a clear light amber color with a film of white head and some spots of lacing. Aroma is pleasing. Taste is light malty sweetness with a lingering hop finish.

Overall, this is a fantastic lager. The pour is a yellowish light brown with a figner of thick off white head. Predominantly caramel and bready malts with a hint of nuts and slight grassy hops. Very drinkable and crisp finish with mild carbonation. The taste is very refreshing and surprisingly bready and nutty malts. Overall, a very solid lager.

Pours a misty light brown. Nice colour, a shade of brown that you don’t see often. Caramel nose with hints of mustard and bordeaux. Odd but nothing to stick your nose up at. Nut dominant taste with a malty background. A strong entrance of tap water kicks in and certainly doesn’t add to the quality of this one. Fairly quiet finish.

UPDATED: AUG 4, 2009 On tap in Edmonton, downtown location. Clear copper lager. Sweet, malty, but easy to drink. Citrusy, and pleasant tasting. One of my favourites when I stop in there.

Crystal clear amber brew with an ok white head and decent retention after you give it a healthy swirl. The aroma was of non-descript hops and some citrus. Actually, this beer is pretty tasty and I’d recommend it as a go-to beer at Brewsters. Hops..zippy hops and blahblahblah. Somewhat smooth with some good bitter aftertaste. Hey, that’s a pretty lame review! Oh well.
